Big Picture - Writing BIG PICTURE

When writing about That Girl, I explained that I wasn’t a birthday person. I am, however, totally an exam person. You know, the thinking about them, the analysing of them, the predicting of them, the debating of their purpose in education – all the usual things people do in order to put off actually, well, preparing for them. I also tend to start outlining books about people sitting exams right about the time I’m supposed to be studying for exams of my own. This writing business really is the best procrastination tool ever…

Oh! Also noteworthy, perhaps, is the fact that this is the first book I’d written since Memories which switches between narrators. I’d forgotten how much fun it was to play around with two sides of the story.
